How it all started
Abby Higgs Photography was established in 2018 after years of documenting the people, places, and moments that felt meaningful to me. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a deeper love for preserving memory, connection, and the feeling of a moment as honestly as possible.
I’m naturally drawn to calm environments, genuine connection, and the quiet moments that often become the most meaningful parts of a wedding day. My approach is thoughtful, allowing couples to feel comfortable enough to fully settle into the experience rather than perform for the camera.
The places I’ve traveled, the relationships I’ve built, and the experiences I’ve had throughout the years have deeply shaped both my perspective and the way I document celebrations.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona, with my husband, Kyren, our dogs, Kona and Nova, and our cat, Rooster. We’re both originally from Wyoming and enjoy going back to visit as often as life allows. I moved to Arizona for college and met my husband while home for winter break. Shortly after we began dating, he moved to Phoenix so we could be together. We have a deep affection for Arizona and are so grateful for all the amazing opportunities it has given us.
